At the Mountains of Friendship
Update to 1-1. Sarah, leaders, autosaves, and more!
This is the first major update for At the Mountains of Friendship. The general new content in an update should be a new girl, and some kind of new feature. For 1.1 that's Sarah, and leaders.
Meet Sarah! As a new character, she's available at first to $10 patrons. That bumps Lydia down to the $5 slot. When 1.2 comes out, Lydia will be free, Sarah will be in the $5 slot, and the next new girl will be in the $10 slot. Sarah's fetish is anal, and her general mechanical identity is being a buffer for dog lovers, like Lydia was a buffer for cat lovers.
Also in this update is leaders. You can now assign a girl to be the leader after the first boss. Having a girl as a leader will give a static effect that takes place in all battles. Each girl has a different one. Maya for example makes all girls love all pets. While Dominique lets you use EXP boosts as many times as you want per turn, not just 4 times. Leaders give a whole new element to building your team and finding new strategies!
The last important thing in this update is being able to quit the game and load where you left off. The games At the Mountains of Friendship takes inspiration from are mostly multi-player, where saving isn't a thing. But since this a single player game, there's no reason not to have an auto save. So here it is!

Added an autosave feature and the ability to continue from the main menu
Reworked Cynthia's abilities
Reworked Natalia's abilities
Reworked Elizabeth's abilities
Changed the ability that makes dog lovers have less health, to make dog lovers take more damage
Did some file size optimizations

Hello, I am going to try this game out - but I have a question - I noticed the 1.1 file is not the game so it wont work alone - So I assume I have to download 1.01 first , and then what do I do with 1.1? do I just extract it within the same folder and thats it? or do i need to do something special? - please advise,Thanks
Actually it seemd file 1.1 is damaged - cant extract
I've been trying to play the 1.01 version - but honestly, is so confusing that is not really enjoyable mate
- there is no tutorial, or if that 1st fight is supposed to be one (if you can call it that) is really confussing, plus the font is so small for the girls ability description boxes it can not be read easily (and I have a 55 inch screen) - also the bottom ability descriptions for all girls in the middle are blocked by those black exagon-slots, so you cant read it.
I was looking forward to play this in PC (windows) but is a 'difficult' game to play straight from the start - I would advise to add a CLEAR and EASY tutorial explaining the how-to for everything, and every clickable button (as straight from the start NOTHING is clear nor easy to get by intuition).
I these are fixed I'd come back to try it as its a shame not to after seeing the nice art shown in the screenshots.
The 1.1 file is fine, you just extract the .rar and run the executable. I downloaded it and extracted it right now to check.
As far as a tutorial goes, there is one and it plays out of several turns, explaining what various thing do in sequence. But thanks for letting me know you found it insufficient.
